Overview

As a Specialty Testing Customer Service Support Representative at Labcorp, you will assist patients and clients with health insurance inquiries and billing questions in a fast-paced work-from-home environment.

In Short

  • Work from home position providing customer service support.
  • Handle approximately 75 calls per day from patients and healthcare providers.
  • Assist with insurance coverage and billing inquiries.
  • Document calls and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.
  • Process payments and set up payment plans.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Must have strong communication skills.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Full-time schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-6:00pm EST.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience in healthcare or customer service.
  • Knowledge of insurance EOBs preferred.
  • Experience with medical billing practices preferred.
  • Ability to work in a high call volume environment.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office and database systems.
  • Ability to follow established protocols.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
