Senior Cytogenetics Analyst - Remote

Overview

Labcorp is seeking a remote Senior Cytogenetics Analyst to focus on Oncology Cytogenetics, working from home with the possibility of travel twice a year.

• Remote position based in the US
• Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Perform routine and complex cytogenetic procedures
• Monitor and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
• Report accurate test results for patient care
• Analyze chromosomes and summarize test results
• Must have a dedicated home office space meeting HIPAA compliance
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in relevant science fields
• 4 years of clinical laboratory experience required
• ASCP certification in Cytogenetics preferred

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science
• Minimum 4 years of clinical laboratory testing experience
• Experience in Oncology Cytogenetics preferred
• Proficient with computers and laboratory information systems
• High level of attention to detail
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Must pass a standardized color vision screen
• Meet work from home requirements
