Cytogenetics Analyst - Remote

Overview

Labcorp is seeking a remote Cytogenetics Analyst to focus on Oncology Cytogenetics, with responsibilities including performing technical procedures, troubleshooting equipment, and reporting test results.

• Remote position with a focus on Oncology Cytogenetics.
• Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 4:30PM.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience required.
• Experience in Oncology Cytogenetics preferred.
• ASCP certification in Cytogenetics is highly preferred.
• Proficient with computers and laboratory information systems.
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills required.
• Work from Home requirements include a dedicated office space and high-speed internet.
• Salary range: $25 - $50/hour.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience.
• Experience in Oncology Cytogenetics is highly preferred.
• ASCP certification in Cytogenetics (ASCP CG) preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus.
• Must pass a standardized color vision screen.
• Flexibility to work overtime or shifts as needed.
