Overview

The ONN serves as a dedicated clinical partner for members navigating a cancer diagnosis, providing personalized education, care coordination, and ongoing support throughout the treatment and survivorship journey.

In Short

• Manage a full, active caseload of members with cancer diagnoses.
• Conduct comprehensive oncology intake assessments.
• Educate members on diagnosis, treatment options, and resources.
• Provide oncology navigation support to Spanish-speaking members.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care among providers and team.
• Identify and address barriers to care.
• Complete accurate documentation of member interactions.
• Participate in call auditing processes.
• Collaborate with team members on quality improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to clinical protocols and documentation standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Active RN license in a compact state.
• Minimum 3 years of oncology nursing experience.
• Active ONCC certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN).
• Fluent bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite.
• Familiarity with NCCN guidelines and ClinicalTrials.gov.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
