Overview

The Director of Member Care is responsible for overseeing and managing the clinical operations of Lantern’s Member Services team, ensuring efficient and effective patient (or in Lantern speak, member) service, compliant with regulations, and company policy.

In Short

  • Lead and supervise managers, supervisors, and clinical care specialists.
  • Drive accountability via metrics management on critical KPIs.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff.
  • Work with Customer Service leadership to drive service excellence.
  • Foster a team-centered culture and reward innovation.
  • Manage staffing levels for optimal phone coverage.
  • Participate in strategic planning for service expansion.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
  • Provide leadership and professional development for clinical staff.
  • Partner with other departments for effective rollouts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Experience in inpatient/outpatient care preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of clinical experience.
  • Strong leadership and management abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Comfortable working across various software platforms.
  • Cross-team collaboration experience.
