Feed Sales Representative - Remote

Overview

The Feed Sales Representative will focus on Dairy feed sales in the East Central WI territory, working remotely to optimize the cooperative's market share and efficiency.

In Short

• Remote field-based sales position.
• Focus on selling dairy feed and related products.
• Conduct up to 25 farm calls per week.
• Evaluate and recommend nutritional programs for cattle owners.
• Organize educational meetings for local clubs and organizations.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field.
• Sales experience is highly desired.
• Strong computer skills required, including MS Office.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills needed.
• 15% overnight travel required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field.
• Experience with Dairy husbandry and nutritional guidelines.
• Proven sales and industry experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Ability to network and build relationships in the industry.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Competent in making nutritional recommendations.
• High internal drive and leadership ability.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
