Overview

The Sales Support Specialist plays a vital role in enabling the sales team to focus on closing deals by handling administrative, logistical, and operational tasks that improve responsiveness, accuracy, and overall customer experience during the sales process.

In Short

• Provide sales desk ticket support both by phone and by email
• Assist sales with entering assessments into Salesforce – CPQ
• Input new contacts and leads into Salesforce and maintain data accuracy
• Serve as deal desk support for large opportunities
• Coordinate large deal support and strategy meetings
• Cross train as backup support for strategic sellers
• Monitor and manage open tickets in Salesforce
• Respond to client inquiries regarding timelines and logistics
• Assist with customer service for minor requests
• Monitor dashboards to move deal packages forward

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in sales support, operations, or customer service
• 2+ years of experience with Salesforce, CPQ tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Customer-first mindset with strong attention to detail
• Preferred: Experience with public sector sales or preservation services
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
