Overview

As a Support Engineer at KNIME, you will help overcome technical challenges while providing outstanding support for the KNIME Business Hub and KNIME Analytics Platform.

In Short

  • Join a growing team at KNIME in Austin, TX or Remote US.
  • Work hours transition from 07.00 AM-04.00 PM PDT to 11.00 AM-08.00 PM PDT.
  • Provide support via ticketing system and forum.
  • Engage in troubleshooting calls and build KNIME workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow support agents and development team.
  • Contribute to process refinement and tool enhancement.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to a diverse audience.
  • Strong background in software support and ticket management.
  • Exceptional English proficiency required.
  • Basic understanding of German is a bonus.

Requirements

  • Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with Linux and/or Windows platforms.
  • Knowledge of JVM, Kubernetes deployments, Identity Providers, and LDAP.
  • Experience with SQL and cloud infrastructures like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Self-organized and eager to learn.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in ticket management and escalation processes.
  • Technical expertise in software support.
  • Curiosity and willingness to improve processes.
