Financial Analyst - Remote

Overview

Kin Insurance is looking for a Financial Analyst to drive financial insights and support strategic decision-making across our Management Company and Insurance Carriers.

In Short

• Build and regularly update operating models and financial forecasts.
• Track departmental vendor and headcount expenses.
• Partner with functional leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial results analyses.
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis on investments.
• Assist in identifying future financial system enhancements.
• Recommend changes to increase accuracy and efficiency.
• Engage with various departments to address business challenges.

Requirements

• 2+ years of work experience in Finance/FP&A.
• Four-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Financial and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting practices.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Looker, or data management tools.
• Highly motivated and natural self-starter.
• Creative problem-solver with strong quantitative skills.
