Engineering Lead - Remote

In Short

• Lead one of our engineering teams with a focus on innovation and full-stack product development.
• Serve as a hands-on engineering leader and a technical expert.
• Nurture and mentor a small team of top engineering talent.
• Collaborate with product management to develop and maintain a roadmap.
• Drive team innovation and deliver features with agility and high quality.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code primarily in Ruby.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and weekly retrospectives.
• Maintain high availability of products and respond to production incidents.
• Represent your team in cross-functional discussions.
• Comfortable working with geographically distributed teams.

Requirements

• Track record of shipping large, complex software projects.
• Fluent in Ruby, Python, or Typescript.
• Experience with architectural design.
• Ability to articulate the value of technical investments.
• Experience mentoring engineers.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript libraries or frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
• Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
• A fast learner, ready to develop further.
• Location in Central or Eastern US time zones preferred.
