Overview

The Manufacturing Systems Specialist will provide technical expertise and support for the implementation and optimization of Smart Manufacturing Operation Management systems to enhance manufacturing processes and support sector objectives.

In Short

  • Provide technical and operational expertise in digital manufacturing.
  • Support legacy MES systems and advance digital manufacturing strategies.
  • Work with key customers including Mill Managers and IT Specialists.
  • Develop and maintain data flows for improved decision-making.
  • Ensure documentation is maintained and accessible.

  • Contribute to various projects and activities to meet objectives.
  • Maintain ethical and organizational standards.
  • Utilize strong communication skills in English.
  • Be available for service calls and business travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of GE Plant Apps and AVEVA PI Systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Windows 10 and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to self-manage with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in project management and change management methodologies.
  • Strong initiative and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform software training.
  • Willingness to travel for business needs.
