Overview

The VP of Sales will build a sales playbook and ensure that the sales strategy and team are aligned with Kicksaw's overall goals. Reporting directly to the CEO/Co-Founder, the VP of Sales will drive revenue by strategically acquiring new mid-market and enterprise customers and expanding existing client relationships.

  • Build & Lead the Sales Team: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team.
  • Performance Metrics & Analysis: Manage a sales operations function utilizing data and metrics.
  • Financial Stewardship: Create and manage sales forecasts, quotas, and budgets.
  • Client Success & Retention: Establish strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with Delivery, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Create a Learning Environment: Build out a sales enablement function.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Keep a pulse on market trends and competitor strategies.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in sales leadership within the Salesforce, tech enabled services, or consulting sectors.
  • Proven track record of achieving growth targets.
  • Experience scaling a CEO-led sales team from scratch in a startup environment.
  • Experience building a sales playbook and sales team at a consulting company.
  • Experience in building out sales operations and sales enablement.
  • Direct experience with Salesforce products or services.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
  • Adept at navigating complex sales cycles and negotiating deals.
  • Exceptional ability to coach a sales team.
  • Strong focus on building a collaborative and high-performing culture.
