Technical Writer - Remote

Overview

Kentro is hiring a Technical Writer to support the development of secure, compliant, and user-centered documentation for a modern, cloud-based application ecosystem.

In Short

• Author and maintain system documentation such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), release notes, and user manuals.
• Translate complex technical processes, data flows, and APIs into clear documentation aligned with FedRAMP and NIST 800-53 standards.
• Support content development for public-facing portals and internal teams using Salesforce Experience Cloud and Pulsar for offline access.
• Document end-to-end integration patterns involving MuleSoft APIs and Tableau-based reporting.
• Collaborate with delivery, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and version control across living documents.

Requirements

• Experience working in or with DHS agencies.
• Understanding of documenting low-code enterprise systems in regulated environments.
