Remote Technical ServiceNow Project Manager

Overview

Kentro is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Project Manager to oversee the Department of Veterans Affairs’ ServiceNow ITSM module and overall ServiceNow platform operations.

In Short

• Lead and coordinate planning, execution, and delivery of ServiceNow ITSM projects and platform operations.
• Oversee multiple scrum teams to ensure timely delivery of features and updates.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the ITSM module and other ServiceNow Platform services.
• Manage and prioritize the backlog, scope changes, risks, and dependencies.
• Collaborate on ongoing operations including incident triage and change management.
• Oversee platform lifecycle activities to ensure stability and alignment.
• Facilitate performance reporting and metrics tracking for ITSM effectiveness.
• Establish best practices and operational metrics for continuous improvement.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies with distributed teams.
• Mentor team members to strengthen capabilities within the ServiceNow ecosystem.

Requirements

• Proven experience in project management within ITSM environments.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform functionalities.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and ITIL best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in performance metrics and reporting.
