Overview

The Technical Writer is responsible for writing instruction manuals, guides, and other kinds of supporting documentation for data center operations, ensuring clarity and ease of use for the target audience.

In Short

  • Write and illustrate documentation for data center operations.
  • Learn complex concepts and communicate them effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop content.
  • Create end user documentation such as SOPs and training manuals.
  • Edit and maintain technical documents for consistency.
  • Assist in developing Data Center standards and policies.
  • Gather and analyze technical information for documentation.
  • Maintain a library of application documentation.
  • Prepare internal communication documents as needed.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school degree required; military or technical training preferred.
  • 1-3+ years’ experience in Mission Critical Environments preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good technical proficiency for process documentation.
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals and drawings.
  • Experience in end-to-end documentation creation.
  • Ability to create infographics for clear communication.
  • Excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Able to handle changing needs and priorities.
