Overview

Kroll Bond Rating Agency, LLC is seeking a Senior Director to join our growing Issuer Relations/Business Development team in New York or Chicago. This individual will support our exponential growth and be part of the Business Development team with a focus on the Private Placement market.

In Short

  • Develop and execute target lists and strategies for outreach to issuers.
  • Initiate and coordinate outreach and relationship building across the Private Placement ecosystem.
  • Work closely with colleagues in Business Development and Investor Relations.
  • Conduct market research projects to aid sales efforts.
  • Understand and discuss the credit side of debt transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of transactional contracts for client onboarding.
  • Organize and track business transaction stages.
  • Maintain client and transaction details in CRM systems.
  • Monitor historical transactional data for marketing.
  • Coordinate with Legal and Compliance teams.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of banking, sales, or issuer relations experience in Private Placement markets.
  • 2+ years of credit analysis experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management, economics, or finance.
  • Excellent computer skills including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Assertive, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
