We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join our Marvel Contest of Champions team, playing a key part in building and maintaining the backend systems that support our game teams.

In Short

• Write, test, and maintain code following coding standards.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in code reviews.
• Debug and solve software issues.
• Maintain clear documentation for code and projects.
• Continuously learn and improve technical skills.
• Communicate progress and challenges to team members.
• Adhere to project deadlines and manage tasks efficiently.
• Assist in designing backend systems focusing on scalability and performance.
• Implement server-side logic, including APIs and databases.
• Participate in design discussions with game designers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably in game development.
• Solid technical experience in Node.js and C++.
• Shipped multiple titles on Console, PC, or Mobile.
• Experience in Android/iOS Mobile application development.
• Strong database experience, preferably MongoDB.
• Experience with RESTful API systems.
• Good experience with source control.
• Experience with scalability and performance optimization.
• Experience with Google Cloud or AWS.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
