Overview

The IT Support Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and providing technical support to employees, managing IT infrastructure, and ensuring the companys hardware, software, and networks operate smoothly. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and effective communication with staff to resolve IT-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Provide first-level IT support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to IT equipment.
  • Manage the company’s IT assets and coordinate repairs.
  • Monitor the company’s network and assist with network device maintenance.
  • Install, configure, and update software applications.
  • Provide technical training and create user guides for employees.
  • Coordinate and prioritize incoming IT support requests.
  • Maintain and update documentation on IT systems.
  • Collaborate with the IT team on improvements and projects.
  • Assist with audits of IT systems for compliance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in IT preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT support or technical roles.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with IT equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and operating systems.
  • Basic knowledge of networking protocols and IT security practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Optional certifications like CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation are a plus.
