Overview

This role is based in NYC with a hybrid/remote in-office experience. Our team works in the office every other week, and 3 months out of the year our team works from anywhere (January, July and August).

In Short

  • Research and evaluate target leads/prospects/opportunities
  • Promote and market Jones through calls, emails and communications to prospective clients
  • Schedule initial prospecting meetings for the Sales Team
  • Provide in-depth information to the Sales Team to enable highly qualified and productive demos
  • Meet weekly and monthly targets for activities and meetings booked
  • Provide feedback to the Sales Team to refine our messaging and objection handling
  • Help as needed to build awareness on special projects, events and sales/marketing activities
  • Maintain all contacts/opportunities and recording all progress in our CRM

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of marketing, inside sales or sales development related experience
  • B2B experience, particularly in communication and outreach to key executive stakeholders
  • Ability to articulate product selling points effectively via phone and email
  • Open to failure and rejection with a positive attitude towards learning, progress, and resilience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills along with excellent listening skills
  • Capable of developing rapport, influencing others, and maintaining strong working relationships
  • Proficient in explaining complex issues clearly and summarizing discussions succinctly
  • Must be self-motivated, persistent, and able to work independently
  • Must be intellectually curious and want to receive/provide constructive feedback
