BAS Field Technician / Lead Controls Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a BAS Field Technician / Lead Controls Specialist to join our federal team supporting U.S. military and other U.S. federal government sites Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). Our OCONUS team supports projects for the U.S. government, primarily for the Department of Defense, in foreign countries (no designated war zone countries). Travel is based on the project needs, but typically around 80%.

In Short

• Act as the on-site project leader for HVAC controls and BAS projects.
• Participate in hardware design installation and software programming.
• Manage system controllers loading, verification, and commissioning.
• Test and write modifications to systems software.
• Provide coaching and technical assistance to subcontractors.
• Conduct site-specific training for owner/operators.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Travel approximately 80% of the time internationally.

• 3 weeks of paid vacation per year.

Requirements

• Technical experience in system commissioning and programming of digital HVAC controls systems.
• Knowledge of electronic or digital controls systems and HVAC systems.
• Strong personal computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to communicate technical material to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
