Overview

We are seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join our federal team supporting U.S. military and other U.S. federal government sites Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). Our OCONUS team supports projects for the U.S. government, primarily for the Department of Defense, in foreign countries (no designated war zone countries). Travel is based on the project needs, but typically around 80%. Typical travel roughly 60-90 day durations (some times less depending on location and project scope), then home for 1-2 weeks before going back on-site.

In Short

  • Engage in the full lifecycle of a project from pre-sales to closeout.
  • Design and configure complex software building control systems.
  • Configure and program HVAC building automation and control systems.
  • Develop and test software programs necessary to operate the system.
  • Support technicians by ensuring the quality, timeliness, and efficiency of designs.
  • Commission and troubleshoot building control systems.
  • Assist in loading and commissioning all system and network-level controllers.
  • Support the pre-sales engineering process.
  • Coordinate drawings and equipment schedules for submittal packages.
  • Provide field change information for as-built drawings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience with Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems.
  • Knowledge of control theory and building automation systems.
  • Experience with pre-sales engineering support.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly with AutoCAD and/or Visio.
  • Ability to relate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to travel up to 80%.
  • Niagara N4 certified.
  • Active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
