Head of Finance - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Head of Finance who will lead the finance department strategically and operationally for a medium-sized company.

In Short

• Overall responsibility for financial strategy and planning
• Leadership and development of the finance team
• Ensuring proper accounting, reporting, and compliance
• Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Analysis of financial metrics and derivation of recommendations
• Collaboration with management, controlling, and external partners (e.g., auditors)
• Participation in strategic decisions and M&A projects

Requirements

• Completed studies in economics, finance, controlling, or comparable
• Several years of leadership experience in finance
• In-depth knowledge of accounting, balance sheet, and tax law
• Experience with financial software and ERP systems
• Analytical and structured working style
• Strong communication and assertiveness
• Fluent in German and English
