DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced and solution-oriented DevOps Engineer for a technology-driven company. In this role, you will be responsible for building, optimizing, and operating modern cloud and infrastructure environments.

In Short

• Build, automate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
• Administration and further development of cloud infrastructures (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Ensure system stability, scalability, and security in ongoing operations
• Monitoring, analysis, and resolution of performance and security issues
• Close collaboration with development and operations teams to streamline and enhance processes
• Introduce modern tools and technologies for automation and infrastructure management (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes)
• Support architecture decisions and continuous improvement of the DevOps culture in the company

Requirements

• Completed studies in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Solid knowledge of container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines
• Know-how in monitoring, logging, and performance optimization
• Understanding of IT security and best practices in systems security
• Analytical and solution-oriented thinking combined with a structured working style
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
