DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a NinjaOne DevOps Engineer, you are a key member of a smart and challenging DevOps team responsible for the upkeep and well-being of the NinjaOne cloud infrastructure, as well as deployment and release management of our suite of IT Operations SaaS products.

In Short

• Design, develop, and deploy secure, compliant infrastructure in AWS.
• Lead the development and maintenance of a cutting-edge CI/CD framework.
• Define and uphold best practices for consistent, high-quality delivery.
• Deliver complex infrastructure projects leveraging expertise across all infrastructure technologies.
• Proactively monitor infrastructure alerts and metrics.
• Troubleshoot and support cloud infrastructure and lead root cause analysis efforts.
• Provide exceptional service and own assigned tasks for successful resolution.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Security Operations, and Corporate IT teams.
• Implement CI/CD and create platform as code across the NinjaOne infrastructure landscape.
• Help pioneer new regions and enable revenue growth through projects and efficiencies.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a cloud-based DevOps environment, specifically AWS.
• Hands-on experience developing and operating highly automated cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Proficient with AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and automation tools.
• Comfortable with agile tools and version control systems.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD tools.
• Experience in developing and integrating software solutions within cloud infrastructure.
• Expert in cloud operations ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Ability to coach and guide a team.
• 5+ years of experience with *nix operating systems.
• 5+ years of scripting experience with languages like Shell, Go, Python, PERL.
