Overview

The Shop Care CSR I is responsible for documenting and communicating pricing approval and denial information as part of the Safelite Solutions claims handling process established by the Insurance Carrier and answers any questions from 3rd party Shops in relation to the status of the payment of their invoices.

In Short

  • Fully remote role requiring residence in specific states.
  • Responsible for reviewing pricing approval requests from 3rd party shops.
  • Documents approval/denial for billing requirements.
  • Research part availability and accuracy using Manufacturer/Vendor websites.
  • Communicates with 3rd party shops for additional documentation needed.
  • Requires personal equipment and a distraction-free workspace.
  • Must be 16+ years of age.
  • Prior customer service experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft programs required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate a computer and telephone systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft programs and ability to type 30 WPM.
  • Experience with SGC Website, Salesforce, Mainframe are a plus.
  • Must provide own equipment (Windows 10 or higher).
  • High-speed internet connection required.
  • Dedicated workspace free from background noise.
  • USB wired headset and webcam required.
  • Ability to work seated for extended periods.
  • Must be able to connect directly to modem (no Wi-Fi).
