Remote Technology Director

Overview

This position is for a Senior Technology Director who will guide the transformation of technology practices to enhance secure, reliable services for over 1.5 million members.

In Short

• Lead the development and execution of a strategic technology roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Spearhead modernization of platforms through Cloud, API, and DevOps practices.
• Mentor and manage engineering and delivery teams to cultivate a culture of collaboration.
• Oversee the adoption of Agile methodologies to enhance delivery speed and quality.
• Ensure scalability, security, and resilience of enterprise technology solutions.
• Work with business leaders to align technology investments with operational needs.
• Oversee technology budgets and resource allocation to promote cost-effectiveness.
• Identify and implement emerging technologies to enhance competitive edge.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of people leadership experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud operations.
• 8 years of IT experience with expertise in DevOps and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience leading technology teams with a proven track record.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of financial products and technology platform development.
• Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology for project delivery.
