Software Engineer - PolicyCenter - Remote

Overview

This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining PolicyCenter applications to support business operations and product releases. The Software Engineer will collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and integrated with third-party services.

• Design, implement, and maintain PolicyCenter application features and integrations.
• Develop new features to support multiple product/state releases, as well as regular enhancements and hotfixes.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish and maintain AWS CodePipelines.
• Assess the business impact of technical design choices and provide strategic recommendations.
• Partner with Guidewire team leads and other developers for high-quality implementation.
• Facilitate meetings and share technical concepts with non-technical stakeholders.
• Support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements

• Deep technical expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Strong programming skills in Java and Gosu.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for stakeholders.
• Experience in a dynamic and fully remote environment.
