As a Data Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and scaling data systems that support intelligent, AI-powered features across a fast-growing nonprofit platform. You will build high-performance pipelines, integrate data from diverse sources, and collaborate with teams to develop insights that empower organizations to make better decisions and maximize their impact. In Short

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Google BigQuery to unify data across product lines.
• Build comprehensive data models to surface key metrics on nonprofit performance and health.
• Integrate off-the-shelf AI services and large language models to deliver intelligent data features.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and support product initiatives.
• Maintain and scale cloud-based data infrastructure (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ensure data reliability.
• Implement automated data validation systems to maintain integrity and accuracy.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for data pipelines, architecture, and AI integrations.
• Translate business objectives into data-driven solutions while optimizing cloud resource usage.

Requirements

• Experience in data engineering and building data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Google BigQuery and database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of AI services and large language models.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and data reliability practices.
• Ability to document technical processes and systems.
