Operations Manager (m/f/d) - Supplier for System Catering - Remote

Overview

As an Operations Manager, you will support the management at the Essen location and take over the operational leadership of two sister companies that supply fresh fruits and vegetables to the system catering and community catering sectors.

In Short

• Ensure smooth operations in the businesses.
• Lead personnel and manage processes in warehousing, purchasing, and logistics.
• Ensure economic success, take over controlling, and optimize processes.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications and conduct price negotiations.
• Act as a point of contact for customers, suppliers, and external partners.
• Represent the managing director when necessary.

Requirements

• Several years of leadership experience in system catering or food wholesale.
• Experience as a branch manager, operations manager, department head, or managing director.
• A degree with a focus on logistics or business administration is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and assertiveness.
• Very good German and English language skills and IT affinity.
