• Manage a team of system operators and resilience engineers for quantum computers
• Maintain and improve throughput and performance of the fleet
• Build tools for easier management of quantum computers
• Collaborate with customers, engineers, and physicists
• Manage costs, inventory, and schedules
• Hire, develop, and retain talent globally
• Define and manage key performance metrics
• Work with a background in AMO physics or experimental physics
• Be curious about technology and maintain technical knowledge

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physics or related field
• 8+ years of professional experience
• 2+ years of technical leadership and people management experience
• Experience in programming languages like Go, JavaScript, and Python
• Able to identify design flaws in production systems
• Excited to mentor early career physicists
• Exposure to Operational Excellence and Learning From Incidents
