Overview

JBS Dev is currently looking for a Business Development Representative to join our sales team. This role is ideal for someone in an SDR/BDR role who is looking to build a strong foundation in business development.

In Short

  • Generate and qualify new business opportunities through outbound outreach, inbound follow-ups, and initial discovery calls.
  • Work closely with sales and leadership teams to identify potential clients and understand their needs.
  • Sell services in strategy and architecture, data warehousing, business intelligence, and more.
  • Take ownership of critical sales activities to drive pipeline growth.
  • Leverage research and outreach strategies to identify high-value prospects.
  • Effectively pitch solutions to prospective clients and set appointments.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to refine messaging and improve lead quality.
  • Partner with a Senior Account Executive to build relationships and close deals.
  • Demonstrate sales acumen to fast-track promotion into a full Account Executive role.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience as a B2B Business Development Representative or similar role.
  • Experience in lead generation through cold-calling, emailing, and social media.
  • Ability to articulate solutions and their value to IT and business executives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be extremely coachable and willing to receive feedback.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and presentation skills.
