Head Engineer - Remote

Overview

Jasper Health is a digital coaching and navigation experience that improves the lives of individuals affected by cancer and their caregivers. The Head Engineer will play a crucial role in expanding the Jasper offering to take advantage of recent regulations that allow Jasper services to be directly reimbursed by health plans.

In Short

• Build and enhance web and mobile applications using cloud-native technologies
• Work on all levels of the technology stack
• Design and implement scalable APIs and services
• Lead technical architecture and manage other software engineers
• Collaborate with product and project managers
• Up to 10% travel may be requested

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software and database experience
• 3+ years of experience with cloud-based infrastructures
• 1+ years of team lead experience
• Experience in designing and implementing end-to-end features
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
