Senior Azure Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Azure Engineer will be a key technical leader responsible for the architecture, implementation, and management of our Azure cloud environment.

• Champion and implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform.

• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Implement and monitor security controls in collaboration with the cybersecurity team.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.
• Create and maintain thorough documentation for all cloud environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and administering Microsoft Azure environments.
• Deep understanding of core Azure IaaS services.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Azure CLI.
• Solid understanding of Azure identity and access management.
• Experience with Azure monitoring and logging solutions.
• Demonstrable experience in implementing Azure cost optimization strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
