Overview

Join IVX Health as a Patient Account Specialist (Remote) to support our billing and revenue operations with a strong focus on patient satisfaction.

In Short

  • Serve as a key point of contact for patients regarding billing questions.
  • Respond to inbound calls and proactively reach out to patients.
  • Review and explain Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to patients.
  • Run monthly patient statements and ensure smooth reimbursement workflows.
  • Identify and assist patients with copay assistance programs.
  • Maintain accurate records while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
  • Support overall department goals by collaborating with internal teams.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of clerical or administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of coinsurance, deductibles, and copays.
  • Familiarity with payer portals such as NaviNet and Availity.
  • Experience working within HIPAA and insurance compliance frameworks.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
