Senior IT Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior IT Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer at Iterable, you will lead critical efforts to modernize and scale our internal infrastructure across cloud and office environments. This role requires both hands-on technical expertise and strong cross-functional collaboration, as you’ll influence how infrastructure is designed, maintained, and adopted across the organization.

In Short

• Own and manage the company’s VPN infrastructure including infrastructure-as-code maintenance via Terraform and Salt.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the company’s in-office network infrastructure.
• Design and implement secure, scalable alternatives to traditional VPN access.
• Establish ownership of the company’s Google Cloud environment.
• Drive the development and adoption of cloud tagging standards.
• Develop automation to identify and shut down unused cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Security, IT, and Engineering teams to support new infrastructure initiatives.
• Lead by example, mentoring other IT engineers and specialists.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT/infrastructure engineering roles.
• Expert in Terraform and cloud environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT/infrastructure engineering roles, with a strong focus on public cloud (GCP or AWS).
• Expert in Terraform and configuration management stacks (Salt, Ansible, etc.).
• Proven experience working in cloud environments.
• Experience building or running production VPNs.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
