Software QA Engineer II - Remote

Overview

The iRhythm Software Quality Assurance team is looking for a Software QA Engineer II with Cardiac/Holter technician experience to work with software engineering and systems teams. In this role you will have the opportunity to support the development and testing of arrhythmia detection algorithms and software applications that are used to deliver iRhythm’s world-class ECG analysis services.

In Short

• Develop software verification test protocols, test plans, trace matrix and document test results.
• Review user, system and software requirements to ensure technical accuracy.
• Evaluate updates to clinical tools and components.
• Provide cross-functional support for new products and software releases.
• Analyze test and production failures to establish repeatability.
• Work closely with Dev, Product, TPM, and QE partners in scrum teams.
• Support DHF activities and help with phase deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline with at least 2 years of software testing experience.
• Experience as a telemetry/monitor technician or Holter scanner.
• Previous experience testing medical devices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of QA principles and Design Control procedures.
• Knowledge of MySQL and Linux environments.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.
