Field Service Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for planning and coordinating assignments related to the installation, upgrading, and troubleshooting of heat treatment equipment, ensuring high-quality service performance.

In Short

• Identify technical issues of heat treatment equipment at customer sites.
• Execute service jobs including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
• Document service jobs and record warranty claims.
• Promote up-/cross-selling of services.
• Prepare required materials for service execution.
• Act as the first point of contact for customers with service contracts.
• Plan and schedule service jobs with the HUB Lead.
• Record hours worked and submit expense reports.
• Follow safety protocols and policies.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the heat treatment industry.
• Ability to maintain heat treatment equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer orientation and service mentality.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Basic computer operations knowledge (MS Office, ERP, CRM).
• Professional appearance and positive representation of the company.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Ability to travel as required.
