Overview

The Technical Support Engineer will provide front-line phone support for customers, field engineers, and sales professionals, resolving Tier 1 issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.

In Short

  • Provide technical phone support to customers and field personnel.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot robotic problems using remote diagnostics.
  • Document complaints within CRM and improve team efficiency.
  • Dispatch service requests through SAP/CRM.
  • Author and publish articles in the knowledge base.
  • Provide onsite support for escalated issues.
  • Mentor new team members.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations.
  • Flexible work schedule including holidays and on-call duties.
  • Act as a Medical Device Consultant in Austria and Germany.

Requirements

  • A degree in electronics or mechanical engineering and/or 2 years related experience.
  • Experience in Technical Support in a call center, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Effective analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Operating Room protocols and endoscopic vision equipment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of computers and software applications, preferably SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Minimal travel required.
  • Fluency in French and English; other European languages are a plus.
