Overview

The SP Specialty Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving identification and adoption of new procedures for the da Vinci SP surgical system, partnering with sales leadership and staff to expand the use of the system in Urology and Head & Neck procedures.

In Short

  • Develop KOLs for Urology and Head & Neck procedures approved for da Vinci SP.
  • Establish regional case observation sites & Epicenters.
  • Conduct strategic market development activities.
  • Execute sales activities supporting KOLs' proficiency as da Vinci SP surgeons.
  • Conduct on-site and wet lab training for surgeons.
  • Serve as the market intelligence liaison for marketing and training teams.
  • Conduct hospital and practice executive presentations.
  • Provide feedback to enhance representatives’ selling skills.
  • Manage initiatives to scale launch of new procedures/products.
  • Investigate targeted specialty procedure trends.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of medical device sales required.
  • 1+ years of management experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and change.
  • Proven ability to influence peers effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills across broad organizations.
  • Excellent clinical selling skills and credibility with educated customers.
  • Track record of personal sales excellence.
  • Management experience or career track required.
  • Overnight travel required: 2-3 days/week (40% - 60%).
  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in science or business).
