Origination Team Member - Remote

Overview

The Origination Team Member will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing and origination activities of the Power Origination group at Intersect Power, focusing on renewable energy contracts and customer relationship management.

In Short

• Support and execute on Intersect Power’s power off-take strategy.
• Conduct market research and develop business cases.
• Support sales/origination, negotiation, and closing of long-term renewable energy contracts.
• Collaborate with modeling teams to value proposed transactions.
• Lead/support RFP responses and proposal creation.
• Act as a subject matter expert for power products & markets.
• Manage existing customer relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Deliver critical deliverables for internal and external audiences.
• Work in a flexible remote culture with regular team gatherings.
• Travel for company-wide meetups across US & Canada.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Renewables, Investment Banking, or Management Consulting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Expert proficiency in Excel.
• Passionate about the energy industry and fighting climate change.
• PST hours strongly preferred.

• Salary: USD $115,000 - $125,000 with 25% annual target bonus.
