Software Development Manager - Internal Tools - Remote

Overview

As part of Intersect’s Corporate Technology team, you’ll lead the strategy, development, and delivery of internal software tools and operational control systems that power day-to-day execution across the company. This role blends technical leadership with hands-on oversight, guiding a mixed team of internal engineers and external development partners to build secure, scalable, and user-centered solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years in a people management or technical leadership role.
• Proven experience with internal operational tools and ERP integrations.
• Strong foundation in modern software development (e.g., React, Go, Python, C#).
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Collaborative leadership style focused on accountability.
• Experience with industrial control systems or SCADA integrations is a plus.
• Familiarity with low-code/no-code tools like Retool is preferred.
• Experience in the energy or infrastructure sectors is advantageous.
