Capital Markets Team Member - Remote

Overview

As part of Intersect’s Capital Markets team, you’ll help deliver the financing strategies that make large-scale clean energy projects possible, supporting structured finance transactions while working closely with various stakeholders.

In Short

• Lead financial modeling for project financings.
• Coordinate due diligence processes with various stakeholders.
• Manage existing financing structures and ongoing fundings.
• Run sensitivity and scenario analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Participate in special projects like M&A and market assessments.
• Build deep financial expertise while driving clean energy transition.
• Collaborate with Asset Management, Construction, and FP&A Teams.
• Support decision-making and optimize outcomes for stakeholders.
• Provide insights to expand Intersect’s position in the clean energy landscape.
• Maintain robust financial models in Excel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or statistics.
• 2-4+ years of experience in renewables or infrastructure capital markets.
• Strong financial modeling skills with proficiency in Excel, including VBA.
• Experience with U.S. tax equity transactions preferred.
• Ability to manage complex processes and multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with tax-advantaged transactions or U.S. power markets is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach.
• Ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
