Overview

Intersect Power is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) to guide complex energy projects in the Texas and Southwest Power Pool regions, focusing on energy management for large-scale consumers.

In Short

• Manage load tariff origination for large energy consumers.
• Negotiate and oversee energy management strategies.
• Deep understanding of data center energy management.
• Coordinate with Development team for commercial agreements.
• Work across various RTOs and ISOs.
• Focus on regulatory compliance and sustainable practices.
• Be a key stakeholder in Intersect Power’s growth plans.
• Collaborate with Project Development, Finance, and Trading teams.
• Report to the Vice President, East Development.
• Participate in team gatherings and experiences.

Requirements

• Extensive regulatory experience at the state level.
• Technical expertise in energy management.
• Hands-on experience in load management and settlements.
• Strong negotiation and contracting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Experience in renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of ERCOT and SPP regions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven track record in energy solutions.
