Women Protection and Empowerment (WPE) Officer - Remote

Overview

The Women Protection and Empowerment (WPE) Officer will deliver GBV prevention, response, and empowerment activities in the Luakdong refugee camp, Matar, and Muon transit site, focusing on supporting survivors of GBV and ensuring effective program implementation.

In Short

• Deliver GBV prevention and response activities in refugee camps.

Requirements

• First degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in social services.
• Experience in counseling or social service provision.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of GBV Guiding Principles.
• Fluency in English and Amharic; local language is a plus.
• Experience in NGO settings is advantageous.
