Trail Construction Operator - Remote

Overview

The Trail Construction Operator is a construction-based, non-exempt, hourly paid position responsible for assisting IMBA Trail Solutions (TS) with mountain bike trail construction and operational duties.

In Short

• Assist with mountain bike trail construction and operational duties.
• Perform physical labor and operate heavy equipment.
• Work with TS Director of Construction and Operations.
• Variable schedule of 0 - 50+ hours per week.
• Extensive travel required throughout the United States.
• Hourly rate of $23 - $34.
• Construct sustainable mountain biking trails.
• Maintain positive representation of IMBA.
• Collect trail data and report accurately.
• Implement safety guidelines and risk management protocols.

Requirements

• Ability to operate heavy equipment.
• Ability to conduct manual labor for 45 - 50+ hours per week.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Experience in trail construction.
• Ability to travel for prolonged periods of time.
• Strong communication skills for project updates.
• Ability to inspect work for compliance.
• Knowledge of materials and procurement.
• Experience in business development.
• Familiarity with risk management protocols.
