Senior Full Stack Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

The International Code Council is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to build enterprise-scale web applications and shape the engineering culture within a cross-functional agile team.

In Short

• Lead design & development of enterprise applications using Node.js, NestJS, and Nuxt.js.
• Build robust APIs and data access layers, integrating with databases and caches.
• Implement testing and enforce code quality within CI.
• Containerize services and deploy to Kubernetes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years with Node.js/TypeScript and 2+ years with NestJS.
• Experience with modern SPAs using Nuxt.js.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and query optimization.
• Proficiency with front-end technologies and responsive design.
• Experience with Git and modern deployment strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
