Payroll Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for providing timely and accurate delivery of payroll for four main groups of employees: Canada, USA, UK & Australia.

In Short

• Administer, process and review payroll for Canada, USA, Australia, and UK.
• Maintain and update employee records for attendance, leave, and overtime.
• Prepare and verify statements of earnings and deductions.
• Process all employee payroll related payments including regular and special payments.
• Complete documentation for benefits administration.
• Prepare payroll filings and supporting documentation.
• Provide information on payroll matters and benefit plans.
• Ensure compliance with statutory contributions and remittances.
• Prepare reports and summaries related to payroll and benefits.
• Assist with audits related to payroll and tax authorities.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience running payroll using ADP.
• Experience managing full cycle payroll for 250+ employees.
• Experience with year-end processing and filing.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance in multiple countries.
• PCP designation preferred.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong analytical and financial skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Team-oriented and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
