Chief Architect - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Architect to oversee the architecture of a complex ecosystem of custom-built software and licensed enterprise applications. This role involves hands-on development and ownership of the architecture roadmap, ensuring the seamless integration and performance of our overall technology solutions.

• Develop and maintain the architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of software development experience, with at least 5 years in an architecture leadership role.
• Proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks, including .NET, Java, JavaScript and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with a wide range of database technologies, including leading RDBMS and noSQL DBs.
• Experience overseeing the design and implementation of enterprise data warehouses.
• Experience designing, implementing and maintaining containerized microservices architectures.
• Experience with vector databases, machine learning and GenAI – a strong plus.
• Experience in the claims or insurance industry – a strong plus.
• Strong innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
