Dev Technology Group is looking for a Cloud Architect to support both Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and new development efforts for a federal government client. The ideal candidate will have relevant Cloud architecture experience, strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage complex work activities in a deadline-driven environment.

In Short

Overall responsibility over the engineering task and the creation and management of cloud environments.
Providing and executing strategies for DevSecOps pipeline adoption, development, and implementation.
Providing solutions to enhance performance monitoring.
Implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for configuration management items in the cloud.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Agile development experience.
Ability to problem-solve and develop solutions to complex business needs.
Designing and implementing Cloud-based AWS solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with eight (8) or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise IT environment OR No Bachelor’s Degree with ten (10) or more years of relevant experience.
Excellent active listening skills.
Ability to discuss technical issues with non-technical, executive-level government officials.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional preferred.
Experience with microservices/container architectures (e.g. Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes).
Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools.
Database management and administration (Mongo DB and Oracle).
