Senior Project Control Analyst - Remote

Overview

Dev Technology Group is hiring an experienced Senior Project Control Analyst to join our Business Operations & Contracts team. The successful candidate will have a high degree of financial management acumen, enjoy providing support to their respective project managers and operational leaders, and demonstrate professional maturity in their approach to communications and relationship building. Candidate should also thrive in an environment which requires the flexibility in day-to-day activities required to effectively respond to customer-driven priorities. The position is hybrid, based in Dev Technology headquarters in Reston, VA, with flexible telework based upon manager.

In Short

• Partnering with Program and Project managers and other senior leaders to provide full financial management lifecycle support.
• Developing individual program’s Annual Operating Plans and briefing results to leadership.
• Maintaining program financial reporting including budget vs actual variances.
• Supporting the team in providing informative financial data.
• Developing ad hoc financial analyses as required.
• Reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of monthly invoices.
• Reviewing and tracking contract modifications.
• Preparing and tracking Purchase Requisitions.
• Supporting the development of client and internal management status reporting.
• Identifying and implementing improvements to financial procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of applicable work experience.
• Experience working within the federal government contracting environment.
• Experience managing financial information and communicating results.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate professionally.
• Excellent relationship building capability.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Ability to obtain the required government security clearance.
• Ability to travel to Reston, VA headquarters as required.
